TV Reporting

With a byline as “Lupita Figueiredo,” I worked full time and as a free-lancer in Spanish-language television. Telemundo 48, Telemundo Network, Univision 14, and CNN en Español are the media companies I have worked for, based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I didn’t take these opportunities lightly, as my vocation is to serve the public by informing them promptly and accurately. To the best of my abilities I used this platforms to support the Spanish-speaking community, on issues such as health, education, public safety, housing, and the SB60-The Driver’s License Bill, just to name a few.

The videos below are not necessarily the best, but they are what I was able to save and they certainly show the work we did. I was lucky to work with talented video-journalists, and as a team, we accomplished plenty. I have at least researched, wrote, and presented 2,500 news stories from my TV reporting career.
